Hey!

Yesterday was Great! I went to my first football game of the high school season and I put my marketing skills to the test. Yes, I passed the test of course lol. I went to St. John's High School in D.C., there I passed out free t-shirts and cards just to get the name "DCSportsFan" out there. I met so many people! It was all so great! My boss was there with me the entire time, and once again he was extremely impressed with my work. I really like the marketing job I have now!

I will keep you all posted on my progress, and the games so you can attend!

Best Wishes

Hello there! Okay so it is extremely late and I am one very sleepy individual, however, I still wanted to fill you guys in!

Most recently my boss contacted me and requested for me to send him some of my marketing idea for the fall in an email. I did just that actually. About two days ago I sent my boss the ideas, and he was so impressed with what I had, he called me in for a meeting, which will take place tomorrow.I'm going to head into his office around noon, so wish me luck! Hopefully I'll have even more good news for you by tomorrow night!

Today was a day of thinking and strategies. I spoke to my boss about what sort of marketing strategies we should use in the Fall. His response was for me to use my brain and get ready to socialize. I was all hands in after he said that! I sent him the longest email ever mentioning how different we kids are from adult, and how the things adults may find great to market on each other will probably never work on a teen. Hopefully, he gets my drift and we can get this show on he road really soon!!

Hello once again. Even though my summer internship is over, I will continue to fill you all in on what's been going on. I have had meeting after meeting with my boss about my upcoming internship with his company in the Fall. Most recently, he explained how my internship will expand. Not only will I continue to write articles on high school athletics around the area, but I will also advertise the company at different athletic events around the metropolitan area. I even get really cool shirts, hats, and other items to represent! Things are looking really exciting for the Fall, so be on the look out for me representing AU and DCSportsFan.com!

Good Morning!

Today is a much slower day for me and my internship, I finally get to rest. However, I will tell you about the events of yesterday. Yesterday, I attended a high school football press conference in Bethesda, MD. All Montgomery County Prep and Public Schools were in attendance. My job was not only easy but fun. I sat and watched as coach after coach gave the overview of his team. One team in particular did not send their head coach to speak, but they sent the head coach's son, he looked so nervous.Despite his nervousness, he did very well, got every point across, and, answered each reporters questions very well.

This was the first press conference I had ever done, so my boss was very impressed that I even had the courage to be the only female reporter in the room at such a young age.I did it!

Once I finished with the press conference, I went back to check in with my boss to see if there was anything else to be done for the day. There was one. We had a small and relatively short meeting about my internship in the Fall. He explained to me that he wanted me to cover the major games in the area, not as a reporter, but as a marketer. He would like for me to hand out free t-shirts, business cards, etc. I didn't mind that at all. It sounds so fun! I can't wait until school and my internship starts!
